Highly recommended. There is always a wait. You'll be sat right away with a reservation. Best Japanese food in town and the secret has been out for a while.
Yes, but you need to pay for everything you order.
Yup
Call back, you probably called during lunch rush. The website should be in english.
Hello I work for Matsuri and I recommend you to make reservation special at the rush hour do not use open table the only way is to call to the restaurant
First time here, food very fresh and superbly prepared I had the uni and the sashimi plate and it was great, they let the natural flavors and freshness of the seafood speak, the prices are reasonable and the service is good, my only caveat is the noise but overall a great experience.
The food was incredibly so good fresh a grant place for dinner
Best sushi in Miami. Have been coming weekly to eat the Toro etc. Came here when I was the only non Asian person and the menu was in Japanese. Just great as is the service. Going again tonight even though it is a long drive. If you love Tuna order the Mr. Bush. The tempura is wonderful.
I love this place the most authentic Japanese cuisine in south Florida. Don’t just come for the sushi the hot dishes are amazing as well as the ton Katsu and gyoza are amazing!
I simply like their dishes. I always get good service there. The place is well organised and the staff members are always helpful. I highly recommend this place.
Whenever you want real Japanese good, go to Matsuri. They have been there for years. The quality of the ingredients is superior, and the execution never disappoints. I have been to Japan and I have worked for a Japanese company for more than 10 years, so I do know the culture and how the attention to detail is part of a good experience in a Japanese restaurant. The menu is extense and they also have a separate Japanese menu if you know Kanji. The lunch bento boxes are a great deals for a week day. Prices are great always very competitive and anti-Miami. Look the picture so you see the beauty of their preparations.
YUKKE was amazing, but others were average.
Best sushi in Miami for the price!
My new favorite sushi place! Great prices, legit Japanese food and espectacular flavors.
UNBELIEVABLE!!! This place was way beyond expectations. Some of the best sushi I have had in Miami so for far. The chefs are absolutely amazing. Will for sure be coming back. One thing to note though the booths suck I wouldn't recommend sitting in them.
Restaurant offers one of the best Japanese food in Miami with $$ price. Wanted to give 5⭐️ but had not so good experiences from 2 of the hostesses on 2 occasions. Nevertheless, the Japanese hostesses were very friendly and accommodative.
Fantastic neighborhood spot. Great price / value. Food is delicious and fresh. Fun vibe too. Will be coming back again and again. Upset at my friends for holding out and not recommending it sooner to me. I will not make the same mistake and am happy to share this review on the same night I first tried it. I am a good friend. Be a good friend and tell your friends about this gem.
This is the real Japanese authentic food, lots of items are different from other typical Japanese restaurant. Good service as well. I recommend Okonomiyaki..Japanese Pizza.
This is a very good restaurant with a huge menu, so you can return and eat something entirely different the next time and the next. Therefore, it is always packed with people who appreciate their exquisite food reasonably price. The service is efficient as well, once you seat and order, the food will start coming within 8 minutes from our experience.
I give this place one star, not because of the food or the service because of how rude was the manager (Aldo or Aldi), I walked into the restaurant with my mask under my chin, I did not realize I did not have covered my nose. The manager walked toward me and pointing and talking in a sarcastic way that everyone in the restaurant starred at me. Aldo you know you could have approached me in a nice way and I have no objection but I do not accept the fact we were rude. Being a manager and rude that does not work in USA. You need to learn manners and how to communicate with customers. I hope you learn from this experience and do not it again with another customer. Work on your anger and rudeness and try be a better manager. Good Luck!
Amazing restaurant with an incredible menu! It's always packed with people who appreciate good food and service. Will be back again soon.
Been here almost every week for the freshness!
Regular customer, come here for lunch at least once a week and with my partner for date nights. The wait is always long, We never really care as long as the food is good. On my birthday we wanted to order take out as the restaurant had been closed for a few weeks during quarantine, it was Mother’s Day and we called to a phone line not working for 2 hours. We sent them an instagram message their response was that they couldn’t take orders through Instagram and to keep calling. They didn’t care I was a regular, or that it was Mother’s Day and my birthday. Guys, please take care of your phone lines.
Love this place. My husband and I go here at least 1 a week. Best place for sushi. They have the freshest sushi and prices are good too. Their staff is very friendly and great customer service.
Authentic Japanese. All dishes are good, their lunch bento boxes on weekdays are the best deal in town! Usually packed at lunch time, but good turnover which makes waiting time not too long
My husband has been talking about this place for years. He use to live close by now we both live in Aventura. Totally worth the drive down there. Delicious in every way.
Fabulous as usual. It's always very busy, but we were seated and served quickly, and with a smile. Everything is fresh and well executed. Matsuri should be a regular spot for any Miami sushi lover.
Fresh food, bad staff attitude. Avoid at busy nights, you won't get good experience. The Age tofu was good, but on top was something so old it actually tasted as sawdust.
Great sushi’s in a casual ambience. Super fast and friendly service.
Definitely a treat to eat here. Make sure you arrive before they open or have reservations as the place fills quickly. A tremendous variety of foods to choose from and something for everyone. This is a family friendly restaurant and can get quite noisy with all the small children at dinner time. If you haven’t been you must check it out.
Menu for those who wanna look at it. Don't try calling, they won't pick up. Food was great tho and I ordered to take out and it was fast.
Pros: Great place, the waitress was really nice and fast, food was amazing!Cons: Really long waiting time to get a table.
Sushi for 3 is HUGE and DELICIOUS! You can tell the materials that they use are fresh. The tofu and the dumpling are good appetizers.
It’s a wonder how this restaurant has constantly received such high marks. The staff was cold, unable to get the proper order in. Tuna was served warm, had an incredible slime to it and tasted fishy almost as if it had been frozen. Gyoza arrived swimming in water, dumpling wrapper was mushy and contents were luke warm at best. Avoid this overhyped overpriced restaurant at all costs.
Wow ! Thia place is great. We had heard of Matsuri from a friend and wanted to visit as soon as possible. The service was good but all of my sushi was fresh and delicious. My soul od vegetables and pork was also very, very good. The prices are very reasonable.
Authentic Japanese, amazing food. Btw try the fried cheesecake....loooved it
Good for lunch. Busy on a Friday lunch. Cacophony was created to describe the noise level there. I'm sure a foodie could explain why Tofu in the soup was a good idea -- or the soup itself.
This is BY FAR the best (price & quality) sushi in Miami
The best Japanis Restauant in florida !!!!!
I visit this outstanding restaurant every couple of days as I enjoy the ambiance that is characterizes this place. The personel is highly loyal and professional. The service is extremely fast. Not to mention, the food they cook is magnificent. I frequent often and I was always delighted. The price is reasobable. I highly recommend this restaurant to to everybody.
This was my favorite Japanese restaurant but not any more. Quality has been got worse. Fish was not as fresh as before. The variety got less especially on masa special 2. They used the same fish with all others rolls
Liked ikura, toro(last one in the menu), yellow tail a lot. American idol roll(toro inside) was okay.
AMAZING lunch menu. Very reasonably priced !
Raw fish should not be eaten in random places, due to its high risk of temperature mishandling and consequently bacteria This is the only few places I trust that monitors seafood safety and freshness
I love this place. We have been here twice and we will come back. Excellent food and service.
Greatly the food from the place, yet I did not appreciate the Styrofoam packaging for to-go orders, nor the plastic bags. Perhaps the use of paper containers and bags for to-go could be a better option since the plastic materials take tens [maybe even hundreds] of generations to break down in the natural environment.
I've eaten a lot of sushi in my life... A lot. This place gives you a really good fish to rice ratio and is a great deal for what you pay for. They don't have a massive sushi selection but they have the best rainbow roll I've ever had.
The best sushi in Miami. Authentic, fresh and affordable. Get the hip hop roll!
This is a nice little restaurant that is tucked away in a strip mall and has been for years. They have a huge sushi menu that includes Japanese uni. They also have non sushi Japanese fare that is hard to find anywhere else in Miami I definitely recommend giving them a try.
If you're looking for a place with fresh sushi, this is the place. I love sushi, but sometimes when I go to certain places it either upsets my stomach or it's just not good at all. STRONGLY recommend you stop by one day and check these guys out. Hands down the best sushi place ever. Probably even the best in all of Florida!
One of Miami's best sushi. Matsuri has been here for the longest time and hasn't changed. Always fresh and delicious. It has a large sushi bar area which we love. Most of the time this is where I like to be seated, although it has lots of tables and great ambiance throughout. Try Matsuri... it will soon be one of your favorites as well.
Be prepaid to wait a long time if you don’t make a reservation. I always make one ahead of time. However, the food here is amazing and worth the wait. The only qualm I have with the restaurant is how close the seating is. You basically are sitting with the table next to you.
The food delicious and it came fast, even though the place was crowded. Loved it! Will go again for sure!!
This is about as good as it gets with sushi in Miami. Two of the assortments offer a premium quality option, which is well worth the money. Also, some innovative rolls and dishes. Good value overall. Do yourself a favor and call for a reservation.
I have never had sushi so fresh. The hurricane salad Is delicious. The charbroiled squid is amazing. Everything about our experience was great and memorable. I highly reccomend if you are into good fresh sushi.. and at a decent price. Make sure And be prepared to wait cause this place is always packed!!
